This instrument has carved back and sides with just a couple of small braces on the front board to improve the tone and to support the bridge. • Designed around the shape of a Gibson A4 style mandolin • Fine flame Maple back and sides • Sitka Spruce front with oval soundhole inlayed with a line of Abalone with contrasting black and white veneers. • Two part laminated Maple neck with Rosewood veneered peghead fitted with Gotoh 4-in-line tuners. Decorated with “David Oddy” brand and “Vine” inlay all in Mother-of-Pearl. • Ebony fingerboard and bridge • Maple bindings with contrasting veneers between all boards and bindings • Setup with Elixir strings and tuned CGDA.
