Thank you so much to everyone who supported the raffle at Abbotsbury, we raised £3,000 for External link opens in new tab or windowCancer Research UKExternal link opens in new tab or window!

Thanks to Phil Beer for donating a fiddle as a prize too.

This means that over the years the raffles have raised £50,660.

Thanks once again to everyone who has helped sell the tickets and to all off you have bought tickets over the years.

    It's that time of year again... here is the Concert Cuatro made by Nick for this year's Show of Hands Abbotsbury Family Festival raffle in aid of External link opens in new tab or windowCancer Research UK. We all have lost people we love to cancer but thankfully we all know people who have fought and won the battle which is due in no small part to the work of Cancer Research so please support us by bringing cash to buy tickets.     Phil donated his David Oddy concert cuatro that Steve Knightley, Phil Beer and Miranda Sykes of Show of Hands have used and abused for years as the raffle prize
    Nick Oddy donated the new one... on a stage near you soon.

    Thanks to all those who bough tickets and donated money and amazing £965 was raised for the the MaxAppeal. 
    Congratulations to Will Plant who won the Tenor.Nick has made a lovely Tenor to be raffled at this year’s festival in aid of the MaxAppeal!

    Show of Hands at the The Meet and Remember Club in Exeter, September 2017

    The Meet and Remember Club in Exeterwere entertained by Steve Knightly and Phil Beer of Show of Hands yesterday.

    It was a time to celebrate David and acknowledge the amazing £1850 raised at Abbotsbury this year.
    A HUGE thanks to Vicki and Amanda for writing out all those tickets.
    To Steve Sheldon and his counting crew for counting out all the money (we understand you missed the second half of the show – true dedication).
    We have been told that the money will be used pay the rent for the room used and will help ensure that the amazing work of the Meet and Remember Club will continue which is what David would have wanted so thanks again.
    Show of Hands performed a number of songs including "Home to a Million Thoughts", composed for the re-opening of the Royal Albert Memorial Museum. Hope you like the video.



    Abbotbury July 2017

    Thanks to all those who bought tickets for the raffle at the Show of Hands gig at Abbotsbury on Saturday, an AMAZING £1850 was raised for Exeter Rotary, for their Meet and Remember Club.  A huge thanks to Vicky and Amanda of Firebrand Music and the Longdogs for all their hard work
    The raffle was won by Millie who received her instrument, which had been donated by David Oddy just before his death, back stage from Steve Knightley, Phil Beer, Miranda Sykes and Nick Oddy.

     

    Show of Hands 25th Anniversary Concert at the Royal Albert Hall April 2017

    We Donated an Oddy Mandocello for the raffle at in aid of Great Ormand Street Hosputal and MIND.  Thank you to all those who participated your donations made a grand total of £4,355 which was split between the charities, the highest amount we have ever raised. Once again a big thank you to 'Team Terracotta' organised by Steve Sheldonfor their hard work selling the tickets.

    We donated a Oddy Tenor for the raffle and raised £1000 for the Bramble childrens’ ward at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital.
