A bit of a mis-noma as the back isn't flat .. and neither is the front !    Both the back and front are constructed from solid flat boards bent over curved braces. The back has three or four “ladder” braces. The front braces are what is commonly known as an “A” frame .. though its more “H” shaped !

• Maple back and sides .. from plain to fine flame maple
• Sitka Spruce front with round soundhole and line of Abalone with contrasting black and white veneers.
• Two part laminated Maple neck with Rosewood veneered peghead fitted with Gotoh 4-in-line tuners. Decorated with “David Oddy” brand and “Vine” inlay all in Mother-of-Pearl
• Maple bindings with contrasting veneers between all boards and binding
• Setup with Elixir 10-34 strings and tuned GDAE. Scale length of 13 ⅞”  / 352mm
• supplied with hard case
