A jumbo sized guitar based on a Lowden L27

based on a Lowden instrument that passed across Davids workbench decades ago. Our standard instrument design was specified by Steve Knightley of Show of Hands and we call it the Jumbo SK
Scale length 650mm
"A” grade Indian Rosewood back & sides

AAA/HAA grade Sitka Spruce front with a round soundhole decorated with a line of Paua Abalone and contrasting black and white veneers

Maple binding with black/white veneer purfling

2-part Laminated American Black Walnut neck fitted with a two way slim line truss rod

Indian Rosewood Fingerboard and Bridge

Mother of Pearl ‘Snowflake’ fret markers and white side dots

Solid Rosewood veneered peghead inlayed with David Oddy brand & vine motif inlayed in mother-of-pearl and abalone

Fitted with Chrome Gotoh tuners
